Sanoptis

On 19 April 2022, Telemos announced the sale of Sanoptis to Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (GBL). The transaction completed on 1 July 2022.

Since Telemos partnered with management to establish the company in 2018, Sanoptis developed into a leading provider of high quality and innovative ophthalmology treatments, offering a differentiated, doctor-centric proposition to physicians. As a result of the successful execution of the buy-and-build strategy in combination with multiple organic initiatives, Sanoptis rapidly grew into a market leader in Germany and Switzerland. At the time of the sale, the company operated over 250 facilities and performed over 1.3 million conservative and 170,000 surgical procedures annually.

GBL’s investment will build on the success of the company to date and support the next phase of growth for Sanoptis across Europe.
